After a lovely weekend assisting my best friend pick out her wedding dress in Atlanta, I came back to an unexpected heatwave in NY. I love mixing the deep steel of this hat and shirt with a hunter green against bleached jeans and white sneakers- feels very valley boy.

zebras print

[Gitman Brothers for Opening Ceremony zebras printed shorts and button up]

My obsession with pairing shorts and shirts in the same print has definitely come to an all time high after hitting the Opening Ceremony sample sale a few weeks ago. The second I laid eyes on the zebras covering this Gitman Brothers for Opening Ceremony I knew I had to have it. Collecting amazing prints is a definite hobby of mine that I take fairly seriously [as seriously as one can when their hobby is finding amazing prints]. Deeper into the sale, I found the matching shorts and knew immediately this was my next printed summer short suit as I like to call it.

[Thrifted jersey, H&M altered shorts, Warby Parker glasses, La Mer Collections watch]

With my preferred uniform becoming more and more sporty, it only seemed inevitable that I would take it literal one of these days. I've been looking for a black mesh jersey like this one for a while now and finally stuck gold on my last trip to Atlanta. I can't wait to try it out in layering, that should be interesting. #FashionGoggled

[Big Star USA shirt, Big Star USA shorts, Vans shoes, Warby Parker sunglasses, La Mer Collections sunrise watch]

Paired with the softest of raglan t-shirts in a deep royal blue, these Big Star USA printed shorts that I like to call paradise print proved easier to wear than expected. A white short sleeved button-up could be used for a dressier occasion, or a classic grey t-shirt for everyday (obviously I would also wear another print with them for everyday too).
