Obviously my favorite trend from the last seasons was a pastel story, mainly involving dusty pinks. I wrote countless stories about the color last Spring. I haven't been able to stop talking/thinking about Beyonce forever since Beyonce came out. One of my favorites? #Flawless naturally. So imagine my surprise when this sweatshirt showed up on my bed from Maddie. Beyond loving 'Yonce, I must say I'm all about the messaging of flawless empowerment with the instant anthem lyrics "I woke up like this." Don't forget it, don't forget it.

Why hadn't I thought of it before? Pairing my newest in the neck game, these tiger head and crossing rifles pins with my beloved collar bar is instantly a favorite. My new trifecta of neckwear. PS. Huge shoutout to Keiko for winning then gifting me these perfect clubmaster's at her drag queen bingo night with Sunglass Hut last week!

I've been looking at a lot of mid 80s to early 90s Beastie Boy photos lately. And looking back, I can't help but think that this must have been an influence for this film shoot with Maddie. The graffitied and posted up soho sidewalks were the perfect background for my late eighties street boy vibes. C-C-Check it out.
