Hugo Boss Opening

[Vintage hat from Etsy, Vintage blazer from Oona's Boston, Barney's Co-Op shirt, Coach belt]

Last week, Hugo Boss celebrated their new Columbus Circle store with a video ode to New York. Natalie, Dylana and I managed to fit in a few quick photos from the night- and the first with my blonde hair! What do you think?

trying out camo

[Vintage Levis denim jacket, Alternative Apparel shirt, Citizens of Humanity camo denim, Dr. Scholl's Shoes]

I've never been one to wear camo. But when these pants came from Citizens, I instantly fell in love! The print is subtle and fit is the perfect loose yet slim fit. Looks like I might be a convert.

Jock Chic

I'm always trying to find unique high street that isn't from the LA collectives or the fast fashion shops on every corner. Intro Clothing carries some really awesome street wear from unique, premium menswear brands. This Fall, I'm all about the fashion jock look. Colors like black, white, grey, maroon, deep maroons, hunter greens and dark navys. I love the graphic print of this Villain jumper and the marroon wool of this Scotch & Soda Varsity Jacket. The site also carries my new favorite, A Question Of. Check out out for all your jock chic needs.

#WhereIStand

Excited to share a little project I did with Camper for their #WhereIStand campaign. So check out my day wearing Camper!

During the long days of Summer, work days can be just as long as weekend days. I paired my Himalayas with black shorts and a simple grey button up. I start the day by grabbing my favorite juice, BluePrint Cleanse at Whole Foods on my way to work. (I'm obsessed with the green and the lemon cayenne agave.) I love grabbing an afternoon tea pick-me-up for the last few hours of work. After that, I head back to Brooklyn for an evening with my roommate, Maddie and do a quick change into jeans and a linen t for a cooler evening. We hopped on our bikes for a quick ride to our favorite thrift store, Fox and Fawn's new store in Bushwick. After scoring a rad striped 90s sweater, it's off the to the market for a home cooked meal.

Camper x Bernhard Willhelm

[Vintage pink sweater, Perry Ellis plaid shirt, Levi's denim, Camper x Bernhard Willhelm Himalayan sneakers (in black)]

Ever since the Camper Fall preview a few months ago, I couldn't stop thinking about these Bernhard Willhelm Himalayan sneakers for Camper. Now, I can't stop wearing them. Especially with this pale pink sweater I copped in LA earlier this year. I've been dying to wear it all summer, just might be my new go to.

Check back tomorrow for more on Camper and their #whereistand campaign.

a touch of pink

[Hugo Boss moto jacket, Vintage Givenchy shirt, Levis 510 denim, Nike Air Max 90]

Last week, I wore this to an intimate dinner with Rachel Pally and her husband, Kevin and a few Bollare friends. This seemed like the perfect day to wear my latest vintage find, this inverted falling dot pattern by Givenchy. For the morning and late night after an amazing dinner at Sorella, I was happy to have my favorite moto jacket from Hugo Boss with the softest rabbit collar.

Cup of Couple

[Vintage shirt, Club Monaco tennis shorts, Ozone socks, Tsubo Halian shoe, Vintage collar bar]

During NYFW, I had the pleasure of meeting Mike and Gabriel of Cup of Couple, a long time favorite blog of mine. The boys were in Williamsburg for a couple of days and we met up for a quick shoot and coffee. The photos turned out so beautiful- I'm excited to finally be sharing them. Thanks again Mike and Gabriel- come back soon!

DIY Ombre

[Vintage hat, DIY Ralph Lauren shirt, Club Monaco shorts, Warby Parker Winston Glasses]

During a recent dyeing spree, I threw in this white shirt with a stain by the collar. But I decided to only dip dye the top portion of the shirt for a ombre effect. The much used black dye had faded to the make the most amazing dark teal color that is the perfect shade for my new Club Monaco shorts- which are the most perfect length if you ask me.

Back to Cool

Oh the days of back to school. Even though I will not be going back to school, I'm not sure I will ever shake the feeling of feeling like I deserve a new wardrobe after a long, trying summer. Back to school shopping was all about the new essentials. A stand out piece for each of your new storied persona's essentials for the season. This season I'm all about that quintessential school-boy charm and throwback sensibilities.

a tribute

[H&M blazer, Tailor 4 Less shirt, ASOS pants, Dr. Scholl's Shoes wingtips, Croc belt]

I made a trip home this weekend to pay tribute to the most generous and stylish woman I have ever met, my Grandma, Mary Jane McGregor. What my Grandma couldn't find or afford, she fashioned herself. She even made entire wardrobes for special vacations- talk about Resort collections. I'd like to dedicate this post to her and thank her for her eye & lessons in taste. RIP Mary Jane McGregor- you will be forever missed.

totally clueless

[A Question Of shirt from Original Attire, Soxiety socks, Nike hat, See.Saw.Seen. sunglasses, A Question Of LA Sweatshirt from Original Attire, Puma snekers, Neff watch]

An ode to Cluless and my current love of totally bright, totally valley boy casual sportswear. I'm channeling a mix of suburban dad- all golf shirts from Nike and Puma sneakers, surfer chic- high socks and obnoxious accessories, and Odd Future groupie- I mean, look at this LA in bones sweatshirt from Original Attire

the golden ratio

[Vintage collar bar, Vintage Courreges shirt, Opening Ceremony shorts, ONLY NY floral leatherback]

As an ex-engineer and math lover, when I stumbled upon these awesome #VisualizePi paintings in East Williamsburg, I was instantly smitten. My love for the golden ratio, pi and infinity is apparent, if not only by my math tattoos. This perfectly floral leatherback is one of my Labor Day steals from ONLY NY… now if I could only buy everything else from the LES hotspot.

NYFW in motion

[Herve Leger makeup, Herve Leger, Christian Siriano, Tibi backstage, Monique Lhuillier]

Spent a busy Saturday with Serena at NYFW going backstage at Herve Leger and Tibi and hitting shows Christian Siriano and Monique Lhuillier. Everything I loved seemed to be in motion- only seems right.

let your hair down

[Thrifted shirt, H&M sweatshirt, American Apparel shorts, Quiksilver shoes]

Fashion week has begun and New York is welcoming the fashion crowd with cool temperatures perfect for testing out your new fall looks just in time for the shows and parties. TGIF- I can finally let my hair down.

Slipped into rips jeans and my oh-so-perfect dip dyed denim shirt from ASOS for NY's first moment of Fall this year. Can't wait to layer.

looking smart [film]

[Penguin polo, Citizens of Humanity denim, Tsubo shoes]

I've never really known what the term 'smart' meant in terms of dressing. Topman had made believe that it was some sort of clean cut, work casual. Well, although I am still wearing jeans and tennis shoes, this is my 'smart' look de jour.

mod monday

[Descendant of Thieves mod print shirt, Big Star USA khaki shorts, Coach belt, Tsubo shoes, Ozone socks]

Holiday long weekends are the best. Pammy and I frolicked around LES hitting all the neighborhood stomps; Only, Community 54 & Blake Scotland. I even biked in the city (& the Williamsburg Bridge)!  A shirt like this one, from the dudes at Descendant of Thieves, is perfect day of shopping at the hippest of NYC jaunts. I'm obsessed with all the intricate detailing, like the shirt is actually built from the inside out. Off to a workless Monday!
