I bought this mustard blazer a few years ago at my first-stop vintage shop in Boston, Oona's. And as of the last month, I can't stop wearing it. It's strange that some colors just became my new go-to's over night with blonde hair. These are some of my favorite pieces of clothing individually. But I love wearing them together for the texture mixture- isn't it nice?

My latest and greatest sweater find has to be this 80s vertical striped fuzzy wool sweater. I sort of feel like it matches my hair, no?

[Vintage Levi's denim jacket, Thrifted shirt, Citizens of Humanity denim, ASOS boots, Richer Poorer socks]

I used to be quite opposed to Chelsea boots. I always associate them with the horrible versions made popular in the last ten years for older men by the likes of DSW, etc. This pair from ASOS though has completely changed my tune- I'm in love. They look great with dark denim and can be worn from causal to dressy- I'm in love.

I'm obsessed with this Deer Dana Adriano Goldschmied-clad shirt I picked up seeing the latest Spring collection from Citizens of Humanity last week, the head menswear designer at Citizens. I gotta tell y'all, Citizens is killing it. Have you seen the magazine? It includes major art/illustration crushes Beth Hoeckel and Deer Dana- run, don't walk.

Sometimes that shirt you forgot you owned, from that time when you wore everything, and anything, M.I.A.-esque becomes that shirt you wear with a blazer to keep it casual after you accidentally tint your hair pink.

I'm not sure how I missed the hype on these awesome Converse and Hudson Bay collabo sneaks. I found them on iConsume, the stop shop for everything street wear. They have some of the sickest brands on their site including everything from ONLY NY to Herschel.

a new year

Everyone says it- I have the best friends ever. While I can't vouch for yours, I can 100% say that I do in fact have the best friends ever. Although my birthday was yesterday, my celebrations started last week with a home cooked meal with my Brooklyn crew, a weekend spent celebrating with my besties from college and a surprise visit from my sister, brother and nieces. The celebration continued yesterday with a mid-day treat at Bollare followed by a dinner with my oldest friends from high school.

I'm starting the next year of my life blessed to be surrounded by such supporting, creative, loving and inspiring and funniest people in my life. I've taken something from each of you and I hope you can say the same. Love to my amazing friends and family.

Most of my collar bars are silver and gold plated, but this gem, picked by for me by my most thoughtful mother, is a little something more fancy. Instead of saving it for a special occasion, I thought it would be best to pair the sparkly piece down with my favorite new sneakers and a striped shirt.

I'm a v-files addict. I find myself dreaming of all the hypothetical outfits I would wear said imprinted jersey. I find my personal vfiles to be Amazon.com though, like the original vfiles, cause its all impersonating street culture- right? Channeling Alexander Wang, channeling rap culture. A win-win.

It's nice shooting in a crowded spot like Union Square for a change. It brings a certain liveliness to photos especially for an outfit so inspired by the streets like this one. I'm obsessed with the weight of this pressed flannel vintage shirt which is complimented perfectly by the hunter green, uber luxurious cashmere sock from Soxiety.

moto jacket dreams

I'm on the hunt for the perfect moto jacket and I think I may have just found it. I'm obsessed this season with the shortened body, longer arm silhouette. And the minimal vibes on this one from A Wang are spot on in my book.

Before I even bleached my hair, I made a resolve of sorts to wear all the blazers I own that haven't seen the outside world in a few seasons. The yellow one I wore to Hugo Boss last week is a personal favorite and a simple, slim-cut black blazer has never hit the back of the closet for too long. Shockingly, I am finding it much easier to pair with my new do', or don't, either way, Fashion Goggled.

dulled pastels

For a long time, muted colors were an enemy. I often opted for brighter, bolder shades and obnoxious prints. While the latter may still be true, my first instinct this Fall is going for a more muted and dulled pastel color palette.
