that 90's feeling

The 90's are pretty much everywhere you look these days. From Zoe Kravitz's latest character as the 'around the way girl' in Dope to Cher Horwitz references on social media daily, pop culture has embraced reference points from a time not so far in the past; enter the Teva Artist Series.

In their latest project, Teva is teaming up with a gang of artists to re-design the classic Teva; bringing new voices and perspectives into the design process. The National Forest x Teva sandal designed by artist, Steven Harrington has bleached acid-colored webbing (in yin yang and snake print) and psychedelic camo soles that immediately brought up these feelings of sun faded California days in the mid nineties and those Steven Meisel photos for the controversial 1995 Calvin Klein campaign. N-p-Elliott

One of the best previews I went to this year was that of N-p-Elliott. For starters, he designed the perfect denim jacket, but fabricated in a rich, beautiful maroon wool. He has a variety of vests as well as amazingly thin sportswear trousers I wouldn't mind wearing everyday. And this subtle tank top is among my favorites, perfect for the season.

Father's Day

Father's day is just around the corner! Have you gotten your dad anything yet? This year, forget ties or socks, movies or a new wallet. I'm going back in the archive to one of my dad's longtime favorites, Old Spice. chambray & chain stitched

There isn't much I love more than chambray, but one of those things happens to be chain stitching. I doubt this comes as a shock as chain stitch is from vintage days past and practically disappeared for a while. Luckily, Madewell hooked me up with 'The Don' perfect summer chambray.
