Upon returning to Brooklyn from a very nice, long break at home in Atlanta. Maddie and I hit the roof in my favorite new coat from WGACA. Loden is a green fabric made in and native to Austria that is perfect for winter winds and rain. Couldn't be more excited to wear this vintage gem.

With temps in the 20s, it's all about strategic layering of thin but insulating clothing to keep the chill at bay while keeping your style on point. I'm obsessed with the tail of my shirt left untucked reminiscent of Cher Horowitz, with a cable or fisherman's knit sweater and topcoat.

Always, slipping into the uniform. This winter, it's black cashmere (for thin layered warmth) and this wind protecting Carhartt jacket. It's a bit short for a traditional winter jacket, but I'm obsessed with the silhouette, especially for pairing with a turtleneck. I wasn't always so certain I could sport a turtleneck without feeling a bit off, this mixture of fine turtleneck and work wear jacket seems to be the uniform for the time being.

Although I will always have a soft spot for the original 501, the slimmer-through-the-hip, zippered cousin, the 505, fits like a dream and LVC made in this incredible off-white wash this season. Plus, what better wash to get into the holiday spirit in?

As the temperatures continue to drop, the layers continue to grow. I'm obsessed with this wool baseball cap from Ted baker not only because of the two-tone, but the wool is great for these freezing days. When it's all said and done, feeling a little city slickers today.
